Andrea Smith: Co-owner/director Scott Zieher: Co-owner/director ZieherSmith opened in March 2003 to present an international group of contemporary and emerging artists working in all media. Located in a newly renovated, storefront space on West 25th Street, the gallery strives to offer a visible and welcoming forum. ZieherSmith is a member of the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA), and in 2006, Andrea was appointed president of NADA's Board of Directors. The gallery has participated in the NADA Art Fair in Miami since 2003, and other events including Art Rock, New York; FIAC, Paris; the Volta Show, Basel; the Zoo Art Fair, London; and MACO, Mexico City. A published poet, Scott Zieher is also a co-founder of the Emergency Press, a not-for-profit organization that produces a bi-annual literary and arts almanac and publishes manuscripts by emerging poets.
