ZieherSmith is a contemporary art gallery established in 2003 in New York City’s Chelsea art district. In 2019, we relocated to Nashville, Tennessee and are currently renovating a new gallery space in Edgehill to open Spring 2025.
Pulitzer Prize wining art writer Jerry Saltz selected ZieherSmith as one of his top 25 new NYC galleries in New York Magazine, leading critic Roberta Smith named the gallery among the top Chelsea galleries in The New York Times, and Art in America including ZieherSmith in its annual listing of top 500 art galleries worldwide. We have placed work in some of the world’s top museum collections, including the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
